02.02.2009 New managing director of Telema is Hele Hammer and Sales Director is Mati Maasik
From February the 1st, the new managing director of Telema is Hele Hammer and Sales Director is Mati Maasik. Telema?s current CEO Toomas Veersoo will continue from as the chairman of the supervisory board,
focusing on development of services and infrastructure.

We are happy to inform you that from February the 1st, the new managing director of Telema is Hele Hammer. For the last 4 years, Hele Hammer worked as the Finance Director at Amserv Group AS, where she will continue as a member of the supervisory board. Hele has been tied to Telema from the beginning of the company in 2000; in 2000 - 2004 she worked as a financial manager of the company and has been the board member of Telema ever since. She has a PhD in economics and finance from Tallinn University of Technology and she has been teaching finance in Estonian Business School since 1997. Hele says that the industry Telema is active in is the most interesting and the services Telema offers are value-adding. ?In current economic downturn, Telema?s services are one specific way to make the whole Estonian (and the Baltic) economies more cost effective. In addition to existing services (Telema EDS, VMI and MMT), many applications that will improve the supply chain management are about to be released to clients. I believe in export potential of these services to nearby countries and why not to the whole world?.

From 1st of February, there will be a new Sales Director as well - Mati Maasik. Mati has been cooperating with Telema for the past 8 years as the representative of a client (Purchase and IT manager at Mobec AS). For the past 2 years Mati worked in the personnel recruitment industry and delivered many intracompany motivation trainings. Mati sees great potential for Telema?s services: ?Both in Estonia and abroad there is a great need and interest towards Telema?s services. Therefore I consider that the greatest challenge to myself is to implement Telema?s solutions in neighbouring countries.?

Telema?s current CEO Toomas Veersoo will continue from February the 1st as the chairman of the supervisory board, focusing on development of services and infrastructure. According to Toomas, ?Telema has entered a transformation phase, growing from an engineering company into international service and operations company. We have reached a remarkable market share in B2B electronic document interchange in Estonia, but in the Baltic States, other neighboring countries and abroad we have still a long way to go. I believe that our services are trustworthy and will help our clients to stay profitable even in economic downturn. Hele and Mati have the skills and experience we need to accelerate the development of our company?.
